Today while driving back from picking up prescriptions and fantastic deals from Walgreens (you can find them here http://www.moneysavingmom.com/ ) I realized what a spoiled child I am. I have three options for a good shelter for my family. Warm, safe, secure homes as an option for us to sleep, play, eat, live. I am constantly reminded of how lucky I truly am to live in my relatively safe city, in this country. I have so many rescources, even if most of them are limited. I praise you, Lord, for the opportunity to be safe. I pray for those who don’t have it so easy. I pray for those babies who spend their nights on the streets and those mommies who don’t have any other options.

Forgive me.

This was later reestablished when, right before nap time, my miracle of a child was playing and ran into the shelter of my legs and simply said, “Home.” And he was. Wood and brick and mortar are not what brings this family home. I am forever blessed.
