I’m just normal, but here you go

I love my baby.  I love my main studly man, Rick. He cracks me up. I love nature and being alone with God. I love swimming – when all I can hear is my breath and the water. I love the wind on my face going down a hill on my bike. I LOVE that I can finally take a bike ride again (Sam and I got a stroller bike thing.) I love raspberries and strawberries and blueberries and blackberries from Farmer’s Market (or picked fresh, of course.) I love being with good friends and drinking good wine and smoking a (few!) Camels. I love the beach and the river and the lake and the way you smell when you come in from the water. I love puppy breath and the way kittens squeak instead of meow. I love cleaning (I know!) and the way it cleans out more than just the dust when you’re done. I love  the way it smells after a summer rain and the way it feels right before. I love Annie and the way she snores and the fact that she’s mine, all mine, and that I had her before I had Ricky and Sam. I love weddings. And dancing. And frosting! I love it that now that I’m a mom other moms talk to me and smile and we smile at each other and just KNOW what that means. I love the fact that I get to show the world to my son. I LOVE that I have so many reasons to live. I love to harmonize to pretty songs (being in the spotlight was never my thing). I love finding old friends and knowing that, even after not talking for so long, we still have love for each other. I love poetry – generally mine! ha! I love to cry. It’s like the cleaning thing – it cleans out more than your eyes. Road trips. Oh man. Road trips and diners and taking pictures in cars and gas stations and bubble gum and cigarettes and diet coke. All that stuff has to be on a roadtrip, though. 🙂

  1. I love it! 😀 I wish I had a bicycle and a bicycle trailer but we can’t afford it right now. 😦 But walks are fun!

  2. I’m so glad you went to my blog so I could in turn find your blog. I love your freshness and honesty. It makes me a little emotional. I’m so glad I met you and I am looking forward to getting to know you better!
